1. Who is responsible
Scoutr.gg is operated by Manuel Pérez, an individual based in Spain, who is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: support@scoutr.gg.
2. What we collect
- Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address and a user identifier. Your Google avatar is shown in the app while you are signed in but is not stored on our servers.
- Gameplay data. While you play with the companion running, the app sends live game state (champions, scores, objectives, positions and similar) to our cloud coach to generate coaching. Summaries and archives of your coached games are stored so your dashboard can show them.
- Crash reports and diagnostics. Crash reports and basic diagnostics are collected via Sentry to keep the app working. This is on by default during the alpha; you can opt out at any time in the app settings, and the choice is also shown during setup. File paths and usernames are scrubbed on your machine before sending.
- Alpha signups. If you request access we store the email, Riot ID, role, and region you submit.
- Payments. Purchases are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. We receive your subscription status; we never see or store your card details.
- Scout lookups. The scout page queries publicly available game data for the Riot ID you enter. We do not build profiles of scouted players.
- Support. If you report a problem, we receive the note and diagnostic logs you choose to send.
3. Why we process it
To provide the service you signed up for (coaching, dashboard, purchases), to fix crashes and improve reliability (diagnostics are on by default during the alpha, with an in-app opt-out), and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising trackers.
4. Who processes it for us
These providers process data on our behalf:
- Google Cloud / Firebase: hosting, authentication, and storage.
- Anthropic: the AI provider that generates coaching from the game state we send it.
- Sentry: crash reporting (with your consent).
- Paddle: payments, as merchant of record.
5. Retention
Account data and coached-game history are kept while your account exists and deleted on request. Crash reports are kept for a limited period by Sentry. Diagnostic service logs (including the game state sent to the AI coach and the coaching it produced) are kept for a limited period for debugging and then deleted automatically. Alpha-signup entries are deleted once handled or on request.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Email support@scoutr.gg and we will respond. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority (AEPD, aepd.es) or your local authority.
7. Cookies and local storage
The site and app use local storage and authentication cookies for your session and UI preferences only. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Children
Scoutr.gg is intended for users aged 16 and over and is not directed at children under 16 (see our Terms of Service). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on the site or in the app.
