How to use Scoutr.gg

From install to your first coached game in about two minutes. No setup beyond pointing the box at your minimap.

  1. Install Scoutr.gg

Download the Windows installer and run it. The companion opens alongside League.

The app isn't code-signed yet while we're a small alpha, so Windows SmartScreen will warn about an unrecognized app — click "More info", then "Run anyway".

  2. Sign in with Google

On the welcome screen, sign in with your Google account and coaching is on for that account right away — nothing to type.

  3. Set League to Borderless

In League's in-game settings, open Video and set Window Mode to "Borderless". The overlay draws on top of the game — in exclusive Fullscreen it stays hidden.

  4. Calibrate the minimap

In your first game, press Ctrl+Shift+H to enter edit mode. A tracker box appears over the minimap (already close by default) — drag it to fit, then press Ctrl+Shift+H again to save.

  5. Launch a League game

Start a match. Scoutr.gg auto-detects your team and role and begins coaching — no setup.

  6. Peek the in-game overlay

Hold Tab in-game to show the coaching panels; release to hide them.

  7. Arrange your HUD

Press Ctrl+Shift+H to drag and resize panels. Your layout is saved for next time.

  8. Tap or hold: your coach on one key

One key, two gestures, in-game. TAP Delete for an instant play call - the coach picks the best move for this exact moment and says it out loud. HOLD Delete to ask a question with your voice (up to 10 seconds), release, and hear the answer. The key press still reaches the game, so pick a key you don't use in LoL - change it in the companion's Settings (the gear icon): Delete, F9, side mouse buttons, Caps Lock and more.
