なぜ必要なのですか？

Scoutr.gg を日本語で使うと、コーチの声は Windows に入っている日本語の音声（Microsoft Haruka など）で読み上げられます。この音声は Windows の無料の機能で、日本語版の Windows にはほとんどの場合すでに入っています。英語版など、ほかの言語の Windows では一度だけ追加が必要です。

追加の手順

  1. Windows の「設定」を開きます（Windows キー + I）。
  2. 「時刻と言語」→「音声認識」を開きます。Windows のバージョンによっては「音声」と表示されます。
  3. 「音声の管理」にある「音声を追加」を選びます。
  4. 「日本語」を選んで追加します。ダウンロードが終わるまで数分待ちます。
  5. Scoutr.gg に戻り、バナーの「もう一度確認」を押します。それでも見つからない場合は、Scoutr.gg を再起動してください。

近道

Windows キー + R を押して ms-settings:speech と入力し、Enter を押すと、音声の設定ページが直接開きます。Scoutr.gg のバナーにある「Windows の音声設定を開く」ボタンも同じページを開きます。

PowerShell で追加する（管理者向け）

スタートボタンを右クリックして「ターミナル (管理者)」または「Windows PowerShell (管理者)」を開き、次のコマンドを実行します。終わったら Scoutr.gg を再起動してください。

確認する方法

Scoutr.gg の設定（歯車アイコン）を開き、音声のカテゴリを見てください。日本語の音声の状態が「Microsoft Haruka ✓」のように表示されていれば準備完了です。「サンプルを再生」で実際の声を確かめられます。

音声がない場合は？

コーチングは止まりません。ゲームプラン、ライブのアドバイス、プッシュトゥトークの答えは画面に文字で表示されます。読み上げだけが行われず、ジャングラーの読み上げ通知のように声だけで伝える通知は流れません。音声を追加すれば、次の確認から声で届きます。

日本語の文言は新しく、まだ日本語のネイティブのチェックを受けていません。不自然な表現があれば、Discord の #bug-reports で教えてください。

Why the app needs it

When Scoutr.gg runs in Japanese, the coach speaks with the Japanese voice built into Windows (Microsoft Haruka and others). It is a free Windows feature and most Japanese PCs already have it. A Windows installed in English or another language needs it added once.

How to add it

  1. Open Windows Settings (Windows key + I).
  2. Go to Time & language → Speech. In Japanese Windows the labels read 時刻と言語 → 音声認識 (or 音声).
  3. Under Manage voices, choose Add voices (音声を追加).
  4. Pick Japanese (日本語) and add it. The download takes a few minutes.
  5. Back in Scoutr.gg, press Check again (もう一度確認) on the banner. If the voice still isn't found, restart Scoutr.gg.

Shortcut

Press Windows key + R, type ms-settings:speech and press Enter to open the speech settings page directly. The banner's Open Windows voice settings button (Windows の音声設定を開く) opens the same page.

Add it with PowerShell (admins)

Right-click the Start button, open Terminal (Admin) or Windows PowerShell (Admin), and run the line below. Restart Scoutr.gg when it finishes.

How to check it works

Open Scoutr.gg's Settings (the gear icon) and go to the voice category. When the Japanese voice status reads something like "Microsoft Haruka ✓", you're set. Press Play sample (サンプルを再生) to hear it.

What happens without it

Coaching keeps working: the game plan, live calls and push-to-talk answers show on screen as text. Only the speech is missing, so notices that are spoken only, like the jungler callouts, don't play. Once the voice is added, the coach speaks again from the next check.
